Penerapan Ilmu Nahwu dalam Tafsir AL-qur’an Kajian Analisis terhadap Surah Al-Fatihah

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Arabic grammar (Ilmu Nahwu) in interpreting the Qur’an and to analyze Surah Al-Fatihah from the perspective of Nahwu. As one of the foundational linguistic sciences in Arabic, Nahwu plays a crucial role in accurately understanding the grammatical structure and meaning of Qur'anic verses. A correct grasp of syntax helps prevent misinterpretation and reinforces the intended message of the sacred text. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach and uses descriptive analysis to explore the syntactic structure of Surah Al-Fatihah. The findings reveal that Nahwu significantly contributes to a deeper and more systematic interpretation of the Qur’an. The analysis of Surah Al-Fatihah demonstrates that its grammatical construction supports a comprehensive understanding of the text, from subject-predicate relationships to implicit meanings. This study emphasizes that Nahwu is an indispensable tool in approaching the Qur’an in a scholarly and accountable manner.   Keywords: Nahwu, Qur’anic Interpretation, Surah Al-Fatihah
